The Kicks Project is a grassroots, 501c(3) corp charity, which means that we have been vetted by the IRS and deemed by the government to be genuine and recognized as tax deductible. This means that all donations can be written off on your taxes, but more importantly it means that you can trust that your donations are utilized as effectively as possible.
The Kicks Project is a unique charity in that we are 100% volunteer based with no administration salaries, overhead, office rent or bills to pay. Because of this we are able to operate at extremely low cost and utilize 100% of all funds for project-based initiatives. Therefore, fully 100% of all contributions go to the communities and projects that need it the most.
Since its inception in 2005, The Kicks Project has executed a number of highly successful projects in five countries spanning four continents. In 2009 Kicks traveled to Trinidad to distribute hundreds of pounds of children’s clothing, mosquito nets and soccer balls to the slums and orphanages of the capital city, Port of Spain. The year before that we went to the Amazonas region of northern Brazil to distribute 50 mosquito bed nets after a recent outbreak of Dengue fever claimed the lives of hundreds of children.

- The Kicks Project was born out of an excursion to Africa where I met 3 children, Bongi, Donasi and Sorasi, who would change my perspective and purpose in life forever. After playing with them in the surrounding jungles of Marangu, I learned from my translator/guide that they had lost their younger sibling to malaria just days earlier. At that moment, I could not imagine how a disease could ever be so accepted as to be considered a normal way of life for children. I have since conducted fund-raisers in Mexico, helping to raise $7000 for the neglected street kids of Cusco Peru; as well as in my hometown of Philadelphia, breaking a Guinness World Record in moonwalking, earning donations for KidsPeace. In April 2008, I traveled to Brazil on the first sponsored Kicks Project to distribute malaria nets, soccer balls & essential life items to the families of the Para and Amazonas regions. In 2009 Kicks traveled to Trinidad to distribute life essentials to the impoverished orphanages of Port of Spain. We are currently conducting a soccer ball donation project with US soldiers in Afghanistan.
